Welcome to Ringwood and Fordingbridge Club For the Blind.

We are a social club for blind and visually impaired persons living in the Ringwood and Fordingbridge areas. Our club was formed in January 2008 and is run entirely by volunteers.

We offer a chance for members to meet twice a month to socialise with other visually impaired persons. Members are able to enjoy a programme of activities which include speakers, entertainers and quizzes. Also our members can attend social functions at other local venues several times a year. The Strawberry Tea, Summer Outing and the Christmas Lunch being very popular.

As well as a social club we have a home visiting team who go to the homes of housebound members to offer help, advice or guidance to enable them to continue to live independently and enjoy their life to the full.

The club sessions take place in the Activities Centre of Greyfriars Ringwood and District Community Association, Christchurch Road, Ringwood, between 2.15 pm and 4.15 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, with the exception of August when there is no club.
